Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8s) | On-Call Required (approximately once every 4 weeks, Monday–Sunday for one week at a time) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and special procedures
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs (approximately once every 4 weeks)
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Be prepared to support emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact State Nursing License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing
• Experience with moderate sedation required
• Radiation badge required — must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pediatric and/or adult vascular interventional radiology
• Experience circulating for interventional procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are not accepted for this role)
