Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday | Start Time: 7:00 AM; shift end varies based on case load | Expected on-call approximately 4 times per month, weekdays only (no weekend call)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulating RN in a high-volume orthopedic operating room environment with 17 operating rooms
• Collaborate with surgeons, PAs, CSTs, and NPs during a full range of orthopedic procedures including large joint replacements, spine cases, hand, foot, and arthroscopic surgeries
• Participate in pre-shift huddles and maintain readiness for case assignments throughout the day
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
• May be required to stay over to complete cases when a second-shift relief is not available
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs in ceil blue (sky blue) are required — scrubs are not provided by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting
• Large joint and spine orthopedic surgical experience is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Ability to work a variable day shift schedule with expected on-call commitment of approximately 4 shifts per month (weekdays only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency in total joint and spine surgical procedures
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced orthopedic OR environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
