Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including chest tubes and central lines in a Level Three Trauma setting
• Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation and patient record management
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and paramedic reception staff to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain a high standard of patient experience with emphasis on strong bedside manner
• Adhere to department dress code: black scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ENPC certifications required
• Experience working in a Level Three Trauma environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or trauma setting
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-acuity procedures independently
