Key Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care nursing to adult and geriatric patients on a 20-bed Neuro Progressive Care Unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stable post-stroke, stable neurosurgery, telemetry, and general medical conditions
• Utilize Cerner EHR for documentation and patient management
• Float as needed to Medical, Telemetry, and Neon units
• Support unit capacity and patient safety, including sitter-level observation responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (North Carolina or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU, Neuro, or a related specialty
• Experience with neuro medical/stroke patients, neuro-orthopedic surgical patients, and telemetry
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Cerner EHR
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• Candidates must be available to start on an approved orientation date: November 16, 2026 or December 7, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown setting
• Familiarity with neurology and neuro-orthopedic surgical patient populations
• Experience floating to Medical or Telemetry units
