Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Neuro Trauma (PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor bedside equipment including telemetry monitors, end-tidal O2 monitoring, high-flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
• Assist with and monitor procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of RNs and patient care aides across day and night shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including ICU and ED

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Hampshire)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Step-down/PCU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro nursing experience
• Trauma nursing experience
• NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification
