Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Renal unit with patient ratios of 1:6–7
• Adhere to every other weekend requirement and participate in holiday rotation
• Float to other Medical Surgical units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
• Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; time off requests after submission will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a renal or Medical Surgical nursing environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
