Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Variable shift times: 0700–1900 or 1030–2300

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an OR RN in a high-volume Level I trauma center operating room environment with 11 rooms
• Support a wide range of surgical cases including ortho, trauma, spine, neuro (including craniotomies), and general surgery, with minimal pediatric cases
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage: up to 8 weekday on-call shifts and up to 9 twelve-hour weekend on-call shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 13-week period, with a 30-minute recall requirement
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Be available to work 2 of the facility's recognized holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or a valid, participating compact RN license – Required
• BLS certification (AHA) – Required
• ACLS certification (AHA) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
• Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (specifically craniotomies) required
• Level I trauma experience required; highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in a comparable or larger facility may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Background in a teaching hospital or academic medical center setting
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment with diverse case types
