Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large Emergency Department serving low- to high-acuity patients, including Stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and Behavioral Health populations
• Support acute care boarding within the ED environment
• Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float between units or sister facilities as operationally required
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Maintain all required certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or high-volume emergency department setting
• Familiarity with stroke, STEMI, and trauma protocols
• Experience working in facilities that serve both adult and pediatric trauma populations
