Contract | Days or Nights (7A–7P or 7P–7A) | Block Scheduling | Every 3rd Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | Every 3rd Holiday with expectation to work major winter holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined ED/Urgent Care setting, managing common diagnoses including cardiac, diabetic, stroke, respiratory, wound care, and tick-borne illness presentations
• Perform bedside triage, manage ED holds, and coordinate transfers to specialty care or higher-level facilities as needed
• Administer and monitor common drips including Heparin and Diltiazem; assist with intubation and monitoring of transport ventilators until patient transfer
• Draw labs, read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently using GE monitoring equipment, and operate respiratory equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow) as required
• Flex to inpatient Medical-Surgical unit as needed based on census and scheduling requirements
• Maintain required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience, or 1 year in a Critical Access Hospital or similar limited-resource setting (for first-time travelers)
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with limited resources in a smaller facility environment
• Willingness and ability to flex to inpatient Medical-Surgical unit as scheduled
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC, NRP, and/or ENPC certification (strongly preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Critical Access Hospital or similarly resourced setting
• Experience with respiratory equipment management including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Comfort working in a duo staffing model and adapting to variable scheduling
