Contract | 3x12-hour shifts (Mids) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging approximately 100 patients per day, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases
• Work within a 30-room private ED environment that includes a six-room EDOU observation unit, six fast track beds, one seclusion room, and five additional monitored rooms
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, supported by up to five technicians during peak hours
• Document patient care accurately using Allscripts Sunrise EMR and administer medications via Omnicell system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a PA managing fast track/minor non-urgent cases within a Level IV Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state requirements for Arizona)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume or Level IV Trauma Center emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication management systems
• Experience managing a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, and neurological presentations
