Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-room Emergency Department, including a six-room EDOU observation unit, six fast track beds, one seclusion room, and five additional monitored rooms
• Manage and assess a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases in a Level IV Trauma Center environment
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 in a department averaging approximately 100 patients per day
• Collaborate with support staff including up to five technicians during peak hours and a PA overseeing fast track/minor non-urgent cases
• Utilize Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication management system to document and administer care accurately
• Adhere to all department protocols; scrubs required in any color except all black (scrubs not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Allscripts Sunrise EMR and/or Omnicell medication systems
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and neurological patient populations
