Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Teach patients skills, techniques, and how to use adaptive equipment to support participation in daily activities
• Study, evaluate, and record patients' activities and progress across inpatient and other hospital units
• Float to various units and departments throughout the facility as needed
• Rely on experience and clinical judgment to plan and accomplish patient care goals
• Meet age-specific competency needs of the unit assigned
• Perform other related duties as assigned; regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this role

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally accredited school of Occupational Therapy
• Current Idaho Occupational Therapy License/Certification
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Prior travel therapy experience required
• Recent hospital/inpatient experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital units or departments
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within occupational therapy
