Contract | Night Shift | Shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 42-bed Medical Surgical unit serving medical, surgical, and orthopedic patient populations
• Function within a dyad care model, working alongside a dedicated CNA and a virtual nurse to support patient care delivery
• Manage a patient assignment of 1:6–7, with telemetry monitoring supported by a centralized telemetry station
• Administer and monitor titratable drips as applicable (Heparin); coordinate with 24-hour on-floor Respiratory Therapy as needed
• Serve in a Charge RN capacity, providing shift leadership; charge nurse carries a patient assignment
• Float to PCU or Burn unit as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal (used to verify compliance with radius requirement)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates may not be currently employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; compliance is required as a condition of contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Medical Surgical, orthopedic, or similar acute care nursing
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and/or centralized tele systems
• Charge nurse or team lead experience preferred
• Familiarity with virtual or technology-integrated care models
