Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department serving all age populations, including main area, fast track, and extension units
• Manage patient assignments within established ratios across department zones (main area, fast track, and extension beds)
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients presenting with conditions including CHF, COPD, CVA, and pneumonia
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with charge nurses, medics, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient flow and outcomes
• Adhere to protocols consistent with a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Accredited facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (ADN or higher accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a stroke center or chest pain accredited facility
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR platform
• Experience caring for diverse patient populations across all age groups
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and well-rounded clinical skill set
