Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 21-bed Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 in a Level III Trauma facility
• Document and manage patient records using MEDITECH EHR
• Fulfill weekend hour expectations of approximately 48 hours per month
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (black scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or progressive care nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with geriatric and adult patient populations
• Familiarity with MEDITECH electronic health records system
• Background in a trauma-level or high-acuity acute care environment
