Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency, including prepping the operating room and positioning patients on the operating table
• Complete verification of the Safe Surgery checklist in accordance with service excellence standards
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities while executing interventions in urgent or emergent situations
• Serve as the communication liaison between family members and the operating team
• Participate in assigned call as scheduled and assist in the control and maintenance of supplies and equipment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina or compact eligibility
• Operating Room experience with demonstrated ability to perform circulating duties
• Proficiency with computer programs utilized in patient care delivery
• Ability to assume duties within or outside of the sterile field as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Safe Surgery checklists and surgical compliance protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, physicians, and care team members
• Demonstrated commitment to continued professional growth and participation in educational offerings
