Contract | 12 Weeks | Days (start times stagger between 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a surgical setting focused on GYN Surgery, GYN Oncology, Urogynecology, Robotics, Plastics, and General Surgery cases
• Utilize strong assessment and critical thinking skills to support patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate with a core team of surgeons and anesthesia providers in a high-functioning, efficient operating room environment
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including one on-call shift per week
• Meet weekend requirements (3 weekends over the 12-week assignment) and holiday coverage as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN License or valid Compact RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical/operating room nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in GYN, GYN Oncology, Urogynecology, or Robotic-assisted surgical cases
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, manage shifting priorities, and thrive in a dynamic OR environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit surgical team
