Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week; 36 hours/week may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center environment
• Function within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs and medication nurses to manage a shared patient caseload (effective ratio approximately 1:6–1:7)
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Adhere to unit protocols, float expectations, and holiday coverage requirements as outlined during onboarding
• Maintain active RN licensure in compliance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (strictly enforced); candidates with fewer than 2 years of recent experience will not be considered
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• Candidates with 5 or more years of specialty experience may be considered even if this is their first travel assignment
