Contract | Travel | Nights | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend and holiday requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, including medical, surgical, and behavioral health presentations
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 to 5:1 in accordance with unit standards
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adapt to workflow changes within an active department currently undergoing construction and expansion
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment requiring strong communication, flexibility, and professionalism
• Support care within a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center, including patients in behavioral health and medical/psych swing bed areas

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department and/or Critical Care experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Completion of required facility education modules through the education department

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–5 years of combined Emergency Department and Critical Care experience
• Experience working in a behavioral health or psychiatric care environment
• Familiarity with Joint Commission Stroke Center protocols
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in high-volume or transitional care environments
