Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Float between units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Document patient care and treatment progress using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend coverage on a fluctuating basis (approximately 2–4 weekends per month)
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience required — this is a hard-stop requirement
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered or granted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
• 2 professional references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Background must be clear of hits; facility does not accept background check hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, high-volume teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with floating between sister or satellite facilities
• Prior experience with Epic charting system
