Key Responsibilities

• Function as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary team, applying professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care
• Primarily work 4 days per week in the outpatient clinic setting, with 1 day per week dedicated to acute care
• Treat orthopedic, neurological, and safety discharge patients as needed during acute care coverage
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled, including potential weekend acute care shifts
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 of 3 designated winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa Physical Therapist (PT) state license required
• Minimum of 24 months of Physical Therapist experience required
• Outpatient PT experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have successfully completed at least 1 prior travel contract (highly preferred)
• Active BLS certification required (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address — no local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Inpatient/acute care PT experience preferred
• Willingness to pick up occasional acute care weekend shifts (not required, but welcomed)
• Prior travel contract experience highly preferred
