Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week (19:45–07:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent nursing care to patients on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to additional units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or compact eligibility
• Current BCLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification completed within the past year required
• Medical Surgical experience with telemetry background
• Must maintain permanent residence at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Comfort and flexibility working in varied acute care unit environments
