Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit across night shift hours
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside routine clinical care duties
• Complete orientation requirements, including online computer-based learning modules, during the designated orientation period
• Maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory standards throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required — AHA is the only accepted certifying body; all other forms will not meet compliance requirements
• Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both attempts or non-completion within the timeframe will result in cancellation
• Must be available and committed to completing a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with availability for a second lab visit if needed
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC guidelines for fit testing; refusal may result in cancellation
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Experience supporting nursing students or participating in clinical education programs
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
