Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts
• Manage complex patient diagnoses including DKA, acute respiratory needs (BiPAP, High Flow, Vent/Trachs), ETOH withdrawal, sepsis, and nursing-intensive cases
• Perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement — mandatory competencies required for all RNs on this unit
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including CADD pumps and PCA pumps
• Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
• Complete pre-start orientation modules prior to assignment start date

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New York State RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• EPIC electronic health record experience is required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing acute respiratory patients including BiPAP, High Flow oxygen therapy, and ventilator/trach care
• Familiarity with CADD and PCA pump operation in an intermediate or step-down care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
