Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across a 40-bed Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department, including hallway beds, ED Holding, Lobby Triage, and Ambulance Triage
• Perform and assist with advanced clinical procedures including Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPAP, Procedure Sedation, RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation), Trach Care, and Ventilator management
• Administer Blood and Blood Products, perform Cardioversion/Defibrillation, and operate Rapid Infuser and Cooling/Warming Blankets
• Obtain and interpret 12-Lead EKGs; support CRRT/Dialysis as needed
• Float to different campuses/sister facilities as operationally required
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)
• Candidates who were previously permanent employees of any affiliated facility within this health system must have been separated for a minimum of 3 months prior to submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Experience with pediatric and adult emergency patient populations
• Familiarity with CRRT/Dialysis and advanced airway management in an ED environment
