Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging equipment (currently Siemens AERA, transitioning to Siemens Viato on a mobile unit) to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas, including advanced studies
• Interview and prepare patients by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and professionalism
• Ensure patient safety through thorough pre-screening for contraindications and proper aseptic injection technique
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists to support diagnostic workflow
• Troubleshoot scanner, coil, PACS, monitor, and peripheral equipment issues; escalate complex problems to appropriate supervisory or support teams as needed
• Provide guidance and training to new technologists and patient coordinators as an experienced onsite team member

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required
• Venipuncture Certification required
• Valid state driver's license and state licensure as required
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume environment preferred
• Technical proficiency operating GE 1.5T or other designated vendor scanning equipment, with ability to run advanced MR studies independently
