Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:30–19:30) | Every 3rd weekend required | Holidays as assigned | On-call: 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans including neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging using Siemens 1.5T scanners
• Conduct specialty exams such as breast MRI, enterography, and imaging for patients with pacemakers
• Operate and work alongside MRI-safe monitoring equipment, ventilators, and IVAC devices for ICU patient scans
• Document patient information and imaging data using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, including weekday and weekend call shifts
• Float to other areas of the department as needed; travelers are first to float

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience (candidates with 1.5 years may be considered with strong Level I or large hospital background)
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
• EPIC EMR charting experience required
• Must maintain an attendance record in good standing; more than one call-off may result in termination
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac MRI experience is a strong plus
• Experience with IV starts strongly preferred
• Prior experience scanning ICU-level patients
