Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with occasional flexibility to mid-day shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-hour Emergency Room within a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Operate independently during overnight hours, with the House Coordinator available as backup support
• Assess, triage, and manage a diverse patient population including medical, surgical, and critical care presentations
• Maintain current competency in TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and NRP protocols as applicable to ER patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and flex to mid-day shift on an occasional basis as needed
• Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
• Strong independent clinical skills; ability to function as the sole RN in the department during overnight hours
• Active AHA BLS certification (required)
• Active AHA ACLS certification (required)
• Active AHA PALS certification (required)
• Active TNCC certification (required)
• Active NIHSS certification (required)
• Must have own reliable transportation; personal vehicle required due to rural location
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
• Active NRP certification preferred
• Active ENPC certification preferred
