Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programs designed to assist patients in regaining physical and social stability and relearning daily living activities through occupational therapy procedures
• Evaluate the extent of patients' abilities and limitations; develop individualized treatment plans and recommend programs suited to each patient's rehabilitative needs and goals
• Assist clients in performing activities of all types, including physical exercises to improve strength, dexterity, visual acuity, and pattern recognition
• Utilize computer programs to help clients improve decision-making, abstract reasoning, problem-solving, memory, sequencing, coordination, and perceptual skills
• Design or fabricate specialized adaptive equipment for home or work use, and instruct clients with severe limitations on how to use such equipment to enhance communication and environmental control
• Participate in patient care conferences, ward rounds, consultations, and educational programs; prepare and maintain accurate records of patient progress, care plans, and related data

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active New Mexico licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with specialized populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or mental health settings
• Familiarity with computer-aided adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Experience coordinating occupational therapy services within a multidisciplinary care team
