Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage a high-volume unit environment with an expected patient volume of approximately 55 visits per day
• Participate in emergency event response as directed by unit management, which may include remaining on-site or serving as part of a relief team during declared emergency situations
• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, with an expectation to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
• Complete required facility modules during orientation as part of onboarding
• Maintain all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI prior to or upon start

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Louisiana RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI (AHA certifications required)
• NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current (within 4 weeks of submission date)
• 2 Manager/Supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RN references are not acceptable); references must be submitted in PDF format
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on file with the driver's license to the facility) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency department workflows and rapid patient turnover
• Experience working in a structured, compliance-driven travel or contract nursing environment
