Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a multi-unit ICU environment serving MICU, CSICU, and NTICU populations with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage and titrate drips including vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, analgesics, metabolic, and specialized infusions
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs and read own telemetry strips using Philips monitoring equipment
• Care for a diverse critical care population including respiratory distress, DKA, renal failure, post-operative surgical cases, cardiac surgical patients (TAVR, CABG), stroke, neuro, and trauma patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapy (available 24/7), and critical care technicians
• Adhere to self-scheduling requirements including a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of general critical care nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted
• Clinicians must be present in-state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are conducted remotely

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1 year of trauma/surgical and neuro critical care experience preferred
• Experience titrating advanced drip protocols including vasopressors and specialized infusions
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and strong teamwork in a high-acuity environment
