Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a busy cardiac, surgical, and telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, identifying and responding to cardiac changes
• Float to other Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units as needed; occasional float to low-acuity ICU may be required
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Tennessee state license or valid Compact license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic experience within the past 18 months required; must be clearly documented and candidates must pass an Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
• Flu declinations are not accepted
• Two supervisory references required at time of submission
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; additional requests will not be considered after submission
• No block scheduling or special schedule requests will be accommodated
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or surgical unit setting
• Comfort with floating across Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units
