Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 twelve-hour shifts per week | Expected 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule | Projected Start: October 19, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members on a 34-bed Trauma Med/Surg unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Perform and maintain skills including IV insertion, basic wound care, management of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Operate unit equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and SCD devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Conduct bedside shift reports and actively engage patients and family members in the plan of care
• Participate in unit float rotation as applicable per contract labor policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced trauma environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a trauma or surgical unit, particularly at an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and chest tube management
• Comfort working in a setting recognized for Comprehensive Stroke and Certified Chest Pain Center designations
