Registered Nurse – Operating Room (10-Hour Days)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Operating Room across a high-volume caseload averaging 12–20 cases per day across 4–5 active rooms (scrubbing is not required)
• Support a heavy Orthopedic caseload including Total Joints, as well as General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Spine, and ENT procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR; operate Alaris IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Participate in on-call rotation: expected 1 day every other week plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks (Friday evening through Monday 0700)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of strong acute care Operating Room experience
• Proficiency in Orthopedic procedures including Total Joints and General surgery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Familiarity with Epic, Alaris IV Pump, and Pyxis systems
