Travel RN – Operating Room Circulator (OR)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with call | Onsite | Projected Start: Mid-Late December

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies
• Ensure availability of appropriate supplies and maintain timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases across a range of specialties
• Supervise personnel involved in patient care delivery; float between campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience with demonstrated strength in Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and/or GYN
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• AHCA Fingerprinting required for all Florida travelers prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience floating across multiple surgical service lines or campus locations
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
