Travel RN – Ortho/Neuro (Med/Surg) | Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected Start: November 2026 | Weekend requirement: 2 shifts/month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Operate and monitor equipment including Alaris IV pumps and wound VACs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and unit staff across day and night shifts to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to facility dress code: charcoal grey scrubs; no hoodies or sweatshirts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Travel RN candidates only — local CNAs and sitters are recruited separately for this unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with wound VAC management and IV pump operation
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Flexible scheduling availability, including weekend shifts
