Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU setting with a 1:2–3 patient ratio
• Manage ventilated patients with proficiency in all aspects of ventilator care
• Titrate sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications per protocol
• Assist with RSI and arterial or central line placement
• Operate slow/continuous dialysis via TABLO (SLED)
• Float to IMCU, NSICU, or MedSurg as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with ventilated patient care
• Demonstrated proficiency with titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications
• Familiarity with GE bedside telemetry monitoring and Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Medical ICU experience
• Experience as part of a rapid response or code blue team
• Team-oriented, self-motivated work style
