Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 5 Days x 8 Hours | Start Time: 6:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures while facilitating smooth and efficient patient flow
• Provide support to other imaging technologists and adapt patient assessment and care methods to meet each patient's unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs
• Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing, image archiving, and MRI safety screening
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards of care as required by state, federal, and regulatory entities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent program
• MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• State licensure required where applicable
• Basic computer proficiency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical MRI setting
• Familiarity with PACS systems and image archiving workflows
• Experience participating in quality assurance programs and ongoing safety education
