Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU, Days plus Call

Location

Siloam Springs, AR | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | On-site | Call required one day per week and one weekend per month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions in the PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness during the recovery phase
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
• Respond to call shifts as scheduled, including one call day per week and one call weekend per month
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the facility EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arkansas or a compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent PACU or OR experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a travel or multi-facility clinical setting
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and patient populations
• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly acclimate to new facility workflows and EMR systems
