Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Accept responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of patient care
• Apply critical thinking and independent decision-making skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Problem-solve and facilitate resolution to patient care and workflow issues
• Perform all duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio
• CPR certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform medium-level physical work, including exerting up to 20–50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10–25 pounds of force frequently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred
