Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30) | On-call expected once per week and every fourth weekend; holiday coverage may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating nurse duties within the surgical/operating room environment
• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care and documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities nearby as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and potential holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required — must be valid for the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room / Circulator experience
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local; local rates apply — please be prepared to provide permanent tax home address upon submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and affiliate facility workflows
