Description

Shift: 7/7 schedule - 1200-1030p - 10 hours shiftsGeneral Information:Minimal experience required? 2-3 yearsWill you accept a first-time traveler? Will be considered based on experienceRequired Certifications/Licensure:LA License in Clinical Laboratory ScienceMedical Laboratory Scientists - ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathology) or equivalentSkills required:Core Lab - Proficiency in the following areas: Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis and Body fluid analysisSupport in the Department:Shift coordinatorLeadership Day/Evening shift only (0030 end time)Must be comfortable to work independently very minimal support staffCan reach to other facilities if it is an emergency for troubleshootingCharting System:Meditech Expanse highly preferred to have previous Meditech experienceEquipment used:Must be competent on all of the equipment below Below is a list of current major instrumentation that we utilize in our core laboratory:Ortho VITROS 5600- Chemistry/Immunoassay-We are currently in the process of transitioning to a new CHEM/IA vendor-Beckman DxC 700AU and DxI 9000/800DiaSorin Liaison XL- Special ChemistryRadiometer ABL 90- Blood GasAbbott Architect i1000- Special ChemistryBeckman Coulter DxH 900- HematologyCellavision- HematologyDiagnostica Stago- STA-R Max- CoagulationSysmex UN-3000- UrinalysisWe also have several small tabletop analyzers such as PFA-100, VerifyNow P2Y12, iSED, Osmo-1, etc.Floating: noneOrientation: (facility and unit)7-10 days or until comfortableScheduling:Shift times: Variable based on needs - 10h shifts - 7 on and 7 offStart Monday and End Sunday7p-5:30a, 6p-4:30aWeekend rotation: as above every otherNo callHoliday Expectations: as scheduled (if holiday falls on their week to work, they will be scheduled)Overtime availableRTO: Manager approvalOther notes:Scrub Color: PewterFree Parking Program name:SimpliFi Travel
