First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute careTravelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staffPatient Types:Respiratory Failure, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Diabetes, Neuro (craniotomies, spinal surgery, TBI), Surgical patients (General, Total joints, Urology, Neuro)Patient Ratios:RN: 1:2Required Certifications:BLSACLSNIHSSSkills required:Stroke experience, Ventilator management, assist with intubation/extubation, CVL (management/placement), foley cath management, tube feedings via NGT or PEGTraveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)Support on the Unit:Charge nurse: will take patient assignmentPhlebotomy?
