As an Outpatient Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients in an outpatient setting. Your day will include preparing and positioning patients, operating radiation therapy equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T): Required
  • MinExperienceRequired: null
  • ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T): Required
  • EMR System: null
  • Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT): Required
  • Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice, Department of Health Services: Preferred
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred

Pros

They will get you a contract. Pay for flights (out of your money though) will help you find housing (out of your money though)

Cons

Low-ball travelers, mess up paperwork, lie about pay, steal money bout of your check, they unfortunately take advantage of travelers and don’t pay out bonuses sometimes. If you refer someone they don’t keep their word and pay you per referral. I wouldn’t recommmend them to anyone.
