Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
2 year ICU experience
BLS
ACLS
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
CRRT, Hypothermia protocol
Meditech Experience preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
Active RN TX license – temp license will not be accepted
Procedures performed on unit: Central line placements, bedside procedure like thoracentesis, dialysis Cath placements, cardioversions, intubations and all other ICU procedures
Patient Experience Required: Surgical population especially oncology
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
Scrub Color RN: Royal Blue
Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
