Registered Nurse - Endoscopy -
Required Certifications: RN: BLS
Education Required: RN/LPN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; RN South Dakota License
Skills required: Endocrinology clinic experience is highly preferred, RN: Triage, patient education, Epic Ambulatory InBasket work, downloading of insulin pumps/glucometers (caregivers do need to complete a training on the computer and then we do teach how to complete downloads), rooming patients as back up
Hours of Operation: 8:00am 5:00pm
Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, but traveler must have 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? only if have previous ambulatory experience
Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Patient Types: Endocrinology Diabetic patients (Type 1 and Type 2) and Thyroid patients
Support in the Clinic: MA/CALPNRNMDAPP Phlebotomy: Clinic has its own lab department Radiology
Charting System: Experience with EPIC in an ambulatory clinic is REQUIRED
Floating: Yes, occasionally
Scrub Color: RN: Navy Blue; MA/CA: Light Grey.
