- Certifications required: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, ACLS, & South Carolina and/or Compact RN License. - Description: The ED is a fast paced environment that treats every type of patient. The ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood and chest tubes. Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience. - Patient Types: Patients range from urgent care (simple procedures) psych, pediatric and critical care/trauma patients. - Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center - Patient Ratio: 1:4 in the ER - Number of Beds: 245 - bed facility offering comprehensive medical services - Travel Reimbursement Offered: Yes - Medical/Benefits Offered: Yes, all starts day 1 of being onsite - Extension Opportunity: Yes
