Complexity of work: The work of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) includes a combination of clinical, patient care, and decision-making. Performs assessments and makes diagnosis based on assessments and diagnostic testing; creates complex treatment plans. Education: BSN – MSN or DNP from an accredited institution Preferred Experience(s): 2 years’ experience in specialty area (Psych, General, etc.) License(s): Current State of Alaska Advanced Nurse Practitioner RN License and an active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. Certifications - AHA BLS..' 81
