+ $500 Travel CLINCIAL INTERVIEWING General Information: This position routinely floats between all of the cardiovascular units at TG and GS. These include: TG CVICU- 13 Beds TG CCU (Cardiac Stepdown)- 29 Beds TG Cardiac Short Stay (Obs)- 8 beds GS joint CVICU/CCU 40 beds these are now separated by 2 different geographical locations 10 bed CVICU 30 bed CCU Mandatory Skills: CVICU/ICU- Chest tubes, Vent management, invasive line management (A-line, CVP, Swann), External Pacemakers, BiPap, Abdominal Pressure monitor, Trach care; CCU- 24h post CABG/TAVRS, STEMI, Fem-pop bypass, Pacemaker Insertions, Ablations, CHF, R/O Chest Pain, Post Cardiac Cath (must be familiar with radial approach);Short Stay-stable, ambulatory, R/O chest pain, fresh stable post cath patients with minimal drips, cath procedure focused with mainly radial approach observation Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam Floating: GS- ICU/PCU/Obs/ED Holding; TG-ED Holding; may float mid-shift to TG or GS Minimum Experience:1 Year minimum experience CVICU OR 2 years of cardiac experience Consider 1sttime traveler: Yes Telemetry Monitoring: Yes Nursing Reading and Interpreting Strips: Yes Nurse to Patient Ratio: ICU- 1:2; CCU/PCU- 1:4; Short Stay- 1:3; ED holding- vary depending on acuity Tech to Patient Ratio: varies depending on unit Support Staff: CNA, Hospitalist, Charge RN, Flex RN, RT, Intensivist, Cardiologist 24/7 unit based educator EMR:EPIC Scrubs: any color (professional) Scheduling: will receive schedule 3 weeks out. If floating to another facility, will get at least 1h notice. Floating within the facility where scheduled they will let the traveler know when they get to the unit they were scheduled for.
