Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile OB/LDRP/MedSurg RN for a small, traveler-friendly critical access hospital. This role will primarily involve caring for MedSurg patients, but candidates must be fully capable of providing complete perinatal and L&D care when OB patients are admitted. On average, the facility handles 1 delivery per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care for MedSurg patients
• Float to and manage labor and delivery cases when needed
• Deliver comprehensive perinatal care, including fetal monitoring and postnatal assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for all patient types
• Document accurately in CPSI (training provided)

Requirements:

• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Experience Preferred:
  • MedSurg and L&D experience required
  • Telemetry and pediatric experience preferred (not mandatory)

• Floating: Yes, between MedSurg and OB/L&D based on patient volume
